Evotec SE sells Halle API site to Monacum Partners, refocusing on core areas under "Priority Reset."
Evotec SE recently announced the sale of its chemical API manufacturing site, Evotec DS GmbH, in Halle, Westphalia, to the private equity firm Monacum Partners GmbH. This divestment aligns with Evotec's "Priority Reset" initiative, launched in April 2024, to streamline operations and sharpen focus on its primary growth areas.
Evotec DS, a specialized CDMO, provides comprehensive chemical API services, from development to large-scale production. Under its new ownership, the facility will operate as DAPIN GmbH, with all employees and operations transitioning smoothly. While financial specifics weren’t disclosed, this transition aims to support future growth under Monacum’s guidance.
