Huons Biopharma Partners with VERNI Aesthetics to Commercialize Fat Decomposition Injection

Huons Biopharma announced the signing of a strategic investment agreement with biotech startup VERNI Aesthetics on Wednesday at its headquarters in Pangyo, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. The partnership aims to strengthen both companies’ presence in the rapidly growing aesthetics market.VERNI Aesthetics, founded by a team of dermatologists, is currently developing MRC101, a fat decomposition injection that has reached phase 2a clinical trials. Through this agreement, Huons Biopharma will secure the commercialisation and manufacturing rights for MRC101, positioning it as a key addition to the company’s product portfolio.

The investment marks a significant step for Huons Biopharma as it seeks to diversify beyond its flagship botulinum toxin (BTX) products. The company aims to leverage its expertise and resources to advance the development and market entry of MRC101 while also collaborating with VERNI Aesthetics on future innovations within the product pipeline.
