Abeona Therapeutics Appoints Veteran CFO Keith Goldan To Board, Strengthening Financial Leadership And Governance

Abeona Therapeutics Inc. has announced the appointment of Keith A. Goldan as an independent member of its Board of Directors, effective April 1, 2026. He will also take on the role of Chairman of the Audit Committee, reinforcing the company’s focus on strengthening its financial oversight and strategic leadership.

Keith A. Goldan brings over 20 years of experience in financial leadership across biotechnology and specialty pharmaceutical companies. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Syndax Pharmaceuticals, where he has played a key role in guiding the company through its first product approvals and commercialization efforts.

“On behalf of the Board, we are delighted to welcome Keith to Abeona,” said Michael Amoroso, Chairman of Abeona’s Board of Directors. “Keith’s deep experience in capital markets, corporate development, and operational scaling will be an invaluable voice as we continue to position Abeona for growth as a commercial-stage biotech company.”

Prior to this, Goldan held CFO positions at Optinose and Fibrocell, contributing to major milestones such as product launches and organizational growth. His career also includes leadership roles at companies like NuPathe, PuriCore plc, and Biosyn, along with earlier experience at ViroPharma and KPMG.

Throughout his career, Goldan has overseen key functions including finance, accounting, IT, HR, and corporate development. He has successfully led multiple capital raises, IPOs, and mergers and acquisitions, making him a valuable addition to Abeona’s board as the company continues to advance its strategic and financial goals.
