Governor Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania has declared a $3 million investment in Adare Pharma Solutions to facilitate the company's expansion and move from New Jersey. Within three years, Adare's $16.8 million expansion will maintain 200 current employees and generate at least 115 new ones. The state was awarded a $2.4 million loan by the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA), a $460,000 Pennsylvania First grant, and a $100,000 workforce development grant to support worker training from the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). According to Governor Shapiro, Pennsylvania is the ideal state for businesses aiming to innovate, expand, and prosper.
Adare is expanding its two Philadelphia manufacturing and
packaging facilities, a 175,000-square-foot facility at 7722 Dungan Road and a
128,000-square-foot facility at 1100 Orthodox Street. The company's
headquarters will be relocated from New Jersey to the Dungan Road location.
Adare Pharma Solutions CEO Tom Sellig praised the decision as a showcase of the
efforts of both Pennsylvania and Philadelphia in becoming an important life
sciences hub for companies like Adare. The company provides end-to-end integrated
services, focusing on oral dosage forms for the pharmaceutical industry.
