Ardena, a specialist pharmaceutical CDMO and bioanalytical CRO focused on enabling precision medicines and complex therapies, has announced the appointment of Dipesh Patel as Chief Quality Officer and Peter Rose as Chief Information Officer. These new leadership appointments strengthen Ardena’s executive team and emphasize the company’s ongoing commitment to quality, compliance, and digital integration across its global operations.
Dipesh Patel brings more than 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held senior leadership positions in contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), virtual biotechnology companies, and large-scale manufacturing firms. His academic background in Chemistry, Biology, and Toxicology provides a strong scientific foundation that supports his expertise in both Quality and Operations. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed a wide range of dosage forms and regulatory frameworks across multiple international markets.
Before joining Ardena, Dipesh served as Senior Vice President of Quality at Accord Healthcare, where he oversaw global quality systems and compliance operations. Prior to that, he worked at Catalent as Vice President of Quality and Site General Manager, playing a key role in advancing operational performance and regulatory excellence. He is also a certified EU Qualified Person (QP), recognized for his deep understanding of pharmaceutical quality standards and regulatory expectations. At Ardena, Dipesh will lead the company’s Quality and Regulatory organization, focusing on strengthening global processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across all sites.
Peter Rose joins Ardena with more than 25 years of experience in Information Technology leadership, having worked across multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. Most recently, he served as Global Head of IT Infrastructure and Security at Diversey, a global chemical manufacturer. During his tenure, he led technology-driven transformation initiatives and successfully managed the company’s IT migration following its acquisition by the Solenis Group. Earlier, Peter spent a decade at Catalent, where he was responsible for global IT systems supporting quality, analytical, and manufacturing operations.
Peter’s career began in the Royal Air Force, where he served as an aircraft engineer. This experience provided him with a strong technical background and a practical, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. At Ardena, Peter will focus on enhancing the company’s digital infrastructure by integrating enterprise-wide IT systems and implementing advanced technologies such as automation, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. His goal will be to strengthen operational resilience, improve productivity, and promote collaboration across Ardena’s international network.
