New Avantor® Innovation Hub In Bridgewater Set To Accelerate Solutions For Life Sciences

Avantor, Inc., a global leader in providing essential products and services to the life sciences and advanced technology sectors, has officially launched its new flagship Bridgewater Innovation Center in Bridgewater, NJ. This cutting-edge research and development facility is part of Avantor’s global network of 13 innovation hubs. The expanded Bridgewater Innovation Center is set to support biopharmaceutical companies in speeding up the development of crucial therapies, including monoclonal antibodies, cell and gene therapies, and protein/peptide therapeutics. 

Spanning 60,000 square feet, the center has doubled its previous laboratory and pilot plant space. Designed for collaboration, it includes dedicated areas for upstream and downstream process development, analytical testing labs, and a specialized viral vector laboratory. The enhanced pilot plant is equipped to conduct scale-up simulations, facilitating quick adjustments across the entire bioprocessing workflow.

With a team of Ph.D. scientists, bioengineers, biologists, and process engineers, the facility enhances both capacity and expertise to better serve customers.
