Messe München Expands Its Reach in India, the Middle East, and Africa by Appointing Bhupinder Singh as President of IMEA

January 16, 2025 — Messe München has taken a bold step to strengthen its presence across India, the Middle East, and Africa by appointing Bhupinder Singh as President IMEA, effective January 1, 2025. This strategic move consolidates the company’s operations in these dynamic regions under one umbrella.

Since 2016, Bhupinder Singh has been the CEO of Messe München India, transforming it into the second-largest international subsidiary of the Messe München Group. Under his leadership, the portfolio of events in India grew from 7 to over 20, and revenues nearly quadrupled.

In his expanded role, Bhupinder Singh will lead the company’s entry into the Middle East market and continue overseeing operations in Africa. Additionally, he joins the Board of Directors of MMI Asia Singapore, which manages Messe München’s activities across China, India, Africa, and the Middle East.
