Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has been named to the CDP A-List by global environmental non-profit organization Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), recognizing the company’s leadership in both climate change and water security. The distinction highlights Chugai’s strong performance and transparency in environmental management and disclosure.

CDP, a UK-based non-governmental organization founded in 2000, evaluates companies worldwide by collecting and assessing environmental data related to climate change, water security, and other sustainability issues. Through this disclosure framework, CDP aims to promote greater corporate accountability and global engagement in addressing environmental challenges.

Chugai views environmental stewardship as a fundamental pillar of its business operations and has established ambitious mid-term environmental goals for 2030, aligned with global sustainability consensus. Since beginning participation in CDP reporting in 2012, the company has strengthened its environmental initiatives and data-driven disclosures in collaboration with Roche and external partners. As a result, Chugai has been selected for the Climate Change A-List for four consecutive years and the Water Security A-List for the third time, marking its third inclusion on the Double A-List.
