Pharma Now reflects upon the success of CPHI Milan 2024!

Pharma Now extends its congratulations to CPHI for the tremendous success of its 2024 event in Milan. The Pharma Now team was thrilled to attend and celebrate the groundbreaking innovations and technologies shaping the future of the pharmaceutical industry. Now, it's time to highlight the key takeaways from this extraordinary event.

Michael Bani, the Editor (US & Europe) of Pharma Now, remarked, “These three days filled me with enthusiasm as I collaborated and networked with visionary pharma leaders, amplifying their voices.”

Celebrating its 35th anniversary, CPHI introduced two new award categories: the Future Leader Award, won by Megan Smyth of Almac Sciences, and Woman of the Year, awarded to Julia Tsetis, CEO of OFET Pharmaceutical Group. These additions showcase CPHI's commitment to fostering innovation and championing women's empowerment. With more than 2,400 exhibitors attracting over 62,000 attendees from 166 countries and featuring 180+ international speakers, the event was a hub of activity. Pharma Now identified 10 noteworthy startups, including Secoya Technologies at Stall 6SU88, Galvita at 6SU90, and Zerion at 6SU77. Over three days, the Pharma Now team, along with other distinguished attendees, immersed themselves in a packed agenda of engaging discussions and lively networking events. The electric atmosphere was filled with the joy of meaningful connections, visible in the eyes of participants involved in the networking program.

In addition to insightful sessions and heartwarming connections, attendees indulged in a sensory feast featuring Saudi tea, Italian gelato, and classic popcorn—treats that were irresistible. The luxurious ambience was further enhanced by glimpses of stunning vehicles like Lamborghini, adding a touch of allure to the experience. As the saying goes, “Chi lavora mangia!” (those who work, eat),” says Michael Bani.

Pharma Now expresses heartfelt gratitude to CPHI for an unforgettable experience. As we eagerly anticipate CPHI 2025, we bid a fond farewell—until next time, adios!
