Kindeva To Supply DuoDote® Antidote For U.S. Emergency Stockpile Under $129M Contract

Kindeva Drug Delivery's global health division, Meridian Medical Technologies, has signed a contract worth $129 million. Kindeva, known for its expertise in drug delivery devices. This agreement underscores the supply of DuoDote® autoinjectors to the U.S. Strategic National Stockpile. This program, managed by the Department of Health and Human Services, helps prepare the nation for emergencies. 

DuoDote® is an FDA-approved device that combines two medicines, atropine and pralidoxime chloride, into a single autoinjector. It’s used to treat poisoning caused by certain nerve agents and insecticides.The autoinjectors will be made at Kindeva’s facility in St. Louis, Missouri, and distributed across the country to ensure they’re ready to be promptly supplied if needed.
