Long-term immunosuppression data from Eledon Pharmaceuticals' tegoprubart program will receive formal clinical scrutiny at the American Transplant Congress (ATC) in Boston, June 20–24, 2026, with implications for how transplant centers and regulatory teams assess CD40L-targeted therapy as a viable calcineurin inhibitor alternative.
Eledon will deliver both an oral presentation and a poster at ATC, covering updated efficacy and safety data from the Phase 2 BESTOW trial alongside new long-term findings from the BESTOW extension study. The oral session, assigned Abstract Publication Number 585, is scheduled for June 22 at 12:03 p.m. ET in the Emerging Discoveries Oral Abstract Session. Andrew Adams, M.D., Ph.D., Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Division of Transplantation at the University of Minnesota, will present. The poster session opens June 20 at 5:45 p.m. ET and focuses specifically on long-term safety and efficacy in preventing kidney allograft rejection.
Tegoprubart is an anti-CD40L monoclonal antibody targeting CD40 Ligand, a receptor central to both adaptive and innate immune cell activation. The CD40L pathway has attracted sustained interest in transplant immunology because blockade at this node can modulate allograft rejection without depleting lymphocyte populations, a profile that distinguishes it mechanistically from standard-of-care calcineurin inhibitors. For QA and regulatory leads tracking the biologics pipeline, the extension study data will be the first extended-duration readout from this program, carrying direct relevance to any future Biologics License Application filing strategy and associated process validation requirements.
Eledon will host a conference call on June 22, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. ET to discuss the ATC data in full. Domestic callers can dial 1-800-717-1738; international callers use 1-646-307-1865 (Conference ID: 84665). A live webcast and archive will be available at eledon.com. Presentation materials will be posted to the Investor Relations section of the company's website following the conference.
The BESTOW extension dataset, once publicly available, will set a measurable benchmark for long-term tolerability that any Phase 3 protocol design and subsequent CMC dossier will need to address.
