Flagship Pioneering, a bioplatform innovation leader, has announced a groundbreaking collaboration with Cambridge University Health Partners (CUHP) and the Milner Therapeutics Institute (MTI). This partnership aims to accelerate the development of breakthrough scientific research and technologies, leveraging the combined strengths of the UK and US innovation ecosystems.
The collaboration grants Flagship’s 40+ portfolio companies access to cutting-edge science, clinical trial support, data resources, and biosamples from Cambridge’s premier life sciences institutions, including the Wellcome Sanger Institute and the University of Cambridge. Career development opportunities, such as the Flagship Fellowship, will further connect Cambridge scientists with Flagship’s innovation-driven initiatives. Leaders from Flagship, CUHP, and MTI have emphasized the potential of this partnership to drive patient-focused solutions and strengthen the UK’s position as a global biotech hub.
