Huons Moves To Single-CEO System Under The Leadership Of Song Soo-young

Huons is a Korean pharmaceutical company that entered into a change of its leadership structure, where a single CEO will lead the company. The resignation of Co-CEO Yoon Sang-bae follows the change now; the company will be working under Song Soo-young’s direction.

Song has extensive management experience with top roles at global firms like Deloitte Consulting Korea & Japan and PwC Consulting Japan. He joined Huons Global as CEO in February 2022, where his expertise in driving management innovation was widely acknowledged. More recently, in August 2023, he also took on the role of president at Huons Japan, spearheading the company’s growth in the Japanese market.

Yoon Sang-bae began his term as CEO in March 2022. He was known for his extensive leadership experience at prominent pharmaceutical companies, including Boryung, Dong-A Pharmaceutical, and GSK Korea. However, his tenure was initially scheduled to run through March 2025.
