New Immunity Booster THYMOTAS Launched by INTAS to Support COVID-19 Recovery

Intas is proud to introduce Thymotas, an innovative and patented formulation of Thymoquinone, designed to enhance immunity and improve the body’s ability to combat infections. Clinically tested, Thymotas has proven to be an effective complement to standard COVID-19 treatments, offering promising results in supporting recovery.

Thymoquinone, the primary active ingredient in Thymotas, is derived from Nigella sativa, commonly known as Kalonji or Black Cumin. Numerous scientific studies highlight Thymoquinone’s extensive pharmacological benefits. For the first time globally, Intas has formulated Thymoquinone into a stable, standardized, ready-to-use tablet.

Thymotas boosts immunity and combats infections through multiple mechanisms, including anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and antioxidant actions. Its anti-viral properties have been validated in vitro against SARS-CoV-2, showcasing significant potential as a powerful addition to COVID-19 standard treatment protocols.

Dr Alok Chaturvedi, Senior Vice-President & Head-Medical Affairs stated, “In the current

pandemic, Thymotas 12.5 mg is very successful in building immunity and combating infections

effectively.”

Produced in a WHO-GMP certified facility, Thymotas serves as an immunity booster and preventive supplement. For general immune support, the suggested dosage is one 12.5 mg tablet daily after meals or as advised by a healthcare professional. In cases where Thymotas is used alongside infection treatment, a dosage of up to 50 mg per day after meals is recommended, depending on the infection's severity or as instructed by a physician. Each tablet should be swallowed whole without crushing or chewing.
