Ipsen has appointed Catherine Bradley, CBE, as an independent member of its Board of Directors, effective immediately. She succeeds Ms. Witts, who stepped down from the Board following the company's Annual General Meeting held on 13 May 2026. Alongside joining the Board, Bradley has also been appointed Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Compensation Committee.
Bradley brings more than 30 years of experience in investment banking and international financial markets, followed by over a decade serving as a non-executive director across several global organisations. Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership positions at leading financial institutions, including Merrill Lynch, Crédit Suisse, and BNP Paribas. She is widely recognised for her expertise in corporate governance, financial oversight, and audit committee leadership.
Her extensive governance experience includes chairing the audit committees of the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Aberdeen plc, France's Groupe Peugeot SA, and Worldpay LLC in the United States. She currently serves on the boards of several international companies, including as Chair of Interactive Investor Limited, and as a non-executive director at Johnson Electric Holdings Limited in Asia and easyJet plc, where she also chairs the Finance Committee.
Bradley graduated from HEC Paris with a specialisation in finance and international economics and has been awarded the title of Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in recognition of her contributions. Her appointment to Ipsen's Board will be submitted for shareholder ratification at the company's next Annual Shareholders' Meeting. If approved, she will serve for the remainder of Ms. Witts' term, which runs until the 2029 Annual Shareholders' Meeting.
With Bradley's appointment, Ipsen said it continues to strengthen its Board with experienced leaders who bring expertise in governance, finance, and international business. The company also maintains gender parity on its Board, which now comprises 14 directors, including seven women and seven men, along with four independent directors and two employee representatives.
The appointment reflects Ipsen's continued focus on strong corporate governance and financial oversight as the company advances its long-term business strategy. Bradley's extensive experience in global financial markets and board leadership is expected to support the company's governance framework and contribute to its future growth and strategic decision-making.
