Abbott India Appoints Kartik Rajendran As Managing Director Following Swati Dalal’s Resignation

Abbott India Ltd has announced that Swati Dalal, the current Managing Director, has decided to step down from her position to pursue an external career opportunity. Her resignation will be effective at the close of business hours on June 13, 2025. Following this development, the company’s Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Kartik Rajendran as Additional Director and Managing Director. 

His appointment, recommended by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, is subject to the approval of shareholders and the central government. Rajendran will assume his new role starting June 14, 2025, for a tenure of five years. The leadership transition was finalized during the board meeting held on Wednesday and has been formally disclosed by the company through a regulatory filing.
