Mankind Pharma Takes a Stand with #RippleOfChange Campaign to Save Lives Through Blood Donation

Mankind Pharma has introduced a campaign called #RippleOfChange across multiple cities on World Blood Donor Day. The initiative seeks to tackle the scarcity of blood donors in India and promote awareness of the critical need for blood donation. The campaign includes a video depicting the impact of blood shortages. It tells the story of friends who suffer the loss of a loved one because there weren't enough blood donors available. The video's goal is to inspire greater blood donation by illustrating its life-saving potential.

 Rajeev Juneja, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Mankind Pharma Ltd. said “With less than 1% of our population donating blood annually, India faces a severe and ongoing blood shortage crisis. This critical shortfall in blood donations leads to the preventable loss of thousands of lives every day.”

 He further added “Kindness resides in all of us, yet while many discuss this issue, few step forward to donate. Our #RippleOfChange movement aims to transform this notion by inspiring individuals to take action. By donating blood, each person can contribute to a ripple effect of positive change, saving lives, supporting medical emergencies, and fostering a culture of community care and responsibility.”
