Nasus Pharma Appoints Industry Veteran Brendan O'Grady To Drive Commercial Growth

Nasus Pharma Ltd., a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing innovative intranasal therapies, has appointed pharmaceutical industry veteran Brendan P. O'Grady as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 27, 2026. He succeeds Dan Teleman and will lead the company's next phase of growth, with a strong focus on advancing its lead product candidate, NS002, expanding the development pipeline, driving business development initiatives, and maximising the value of the company's proprietary Nasax® intranasal technology platform.

The appointment comes at a crucial stage for Nasus Pharma as it prepares NS002 for a pivotal clinical trial expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, followed by topline results in the first quarter of 2027. According to Udi Gilboa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, the company's strategic priorities are increasingly shifting towards pre-commercial planning. He said O'Grady's extensive experience in commercial strategy, market access, reimbursement, and pharmaceutical leadership makes him well suited to guide Nasus through its next phase of development. Gilboa also thanked former CEO Dan Teleman for his contributions to the company and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Commenting on his appointment, O'Grady said he is excited to join Nasus Pharma at such an important point in its development. He highlighted the potential of NS002, an investigational intranasal treatment for anaphylaxis, which aims to address a significant unmet medical need. He noted that the product targets a market estimated to be worth around $2 billion and could offer patients and caregivers a faster, needle-free alternative to injectable treatments for severe allergic reactions. Drawing on his 35 years of commercial leadership experience, O'Grady said he believes the company's portfolio has significant long-term growth potential and looks forward to helping bring these innovative therapies to patients.

O'Grady brings more than three decades of global leadership experience across the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in corporate strategy, business development, commercialisation, market access, strategic partnerships, and global product launches. Throughout his career, he has led multi-billion-dollar pharmaceutical businesses and successfully developed commercial strategies that have driven growth and created shareholder value across publicly listed healthcare companies.

Before joining Nasus Pharma, O'Grady spent 21 years at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he held several senior commercial leadership positions before becoming Chief Executive Officer of Teva USA and Executive Vice President, North America Commercial. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of Assertio Holdings and has been a member of several public and private company boards. Notably, he served on the Board of Directors of telehealth company American Well Corporation (Amwell) between 2015 and 2021, where he chaired the Compensation Committee and was a member of the IPO Committee. He also served on the United States Department of Commerce's U.S. Investment Advisory Council from 2019 to 2021.

O'Grady holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Business Administration from Baker University's School of Professional and Graduate Studies. With his extensive commercial and strategic leadership experience, Nasus Pharma expects his appointment to strengthen the company's transition towards late-stage development and future commercialisation while supporting the successful advancement of its innovative intranasal therapies.
