Pulsus Group Sets Sights On Telangana With Rs 300 Crore Investment In AI-Powered Pharma Healthcare Hub

Pulsus Group, led by CEO & managing director Dr. Srinubabu Gedela, unveiled plans during the 73rd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress to establish an AI-driven pharma healthcare IT hub in Ameenpur, Sangareddy district, Telangana. The ambitious project, budgeted at Rs 300 crore, aims to revolutionize both healthcare and IT sectors. It is anticipated to generate approximately 10,000 direct employment opportunities and an additional 40,000 indirect jobs across supporting industries and services, promising significant economic impact and growth potential for the region.

The project, strategically positioned within Ameenpur's IT/ITeS zone, will harness cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance every facet of the pharmaceutical industry, spanning research, development, and healthcare provision. Dr. Srinubabu Gedela highlighted its potential to create a substantial number of employment opportunities, benefiting local residents. Gedela said, “By integrating the most advanced artificial intelligence, we aim to streamline processes, enhance precision in drug development, and improve patient outcomes. This positions Telangana at the forefront of healthcare innovation in India.”

Speaking at the conclave, Telangana's Industries & IT Minister, D Sridhar Babu, emphasized that integrating AI and advanced technologies into the pharmaceutical sector could potentially lower the cost of drugs and treatments, thereby enhancing accessibility for patients. In a move to bolster Telangana and Hyderabad stature as a prominent global pharmaceutical hub, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has opted for a decentralized development strategy focused on creating 9-10 specialized pharma zones across the state. This approach aims to foster self-sufficiency within each cluster, stimulate rural economic growth, and generate employment opportunities.
