Tapi Appoints Serge Rogasik As Ceo To Drive Cdmo Growth Expansion
TAPI names Serge Rogasik CEO, bringing 25+ years in regulated-market transformation to one of the industry's largest API and CDMO platforms.

For pharma manufacturers evaluating API sourcing and CDMO partnerships, the leadership transition at TAPI (Technology & API Services) carries operational weight: the company has placed a transformation-focused executive with a documented track record in carve-outs, M&A integration, and regulated-market repositioning at its helm. Serge Rogasik assumes the CEO role effective immediately, stepping into one of the industry's larger integrated API and CDMO platforms.
TAPI's scale is the baseline context. Founded in 1935, the company operates 13 manufacturing sites and six R&D facilities across India, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, employs more than 4,000 people, and supplies over 350 active ingredients globally. That footprint positions the company directly in the supply chain diversification conversation that has dominated procurement and regulatory planning since post-pandemic sourcing disruptions exposed single-geography dependencies.
Rogasik brings more than 25 years across specialty ingredients, active ingredients, specialty chemicals, and life sciences. Most recently, as President and CEO of Kensing, a specialty ingredients company backed by One Rock Capital Partners, he led the integration of four acquisitions and expanded a single-site BASF carve-out into a global platform, achieving market leadership in natural vitamin E and sterols. Earlier roles at Vantage Specialty Chemicals, Addivant, BASF, and Eastman Chemical Company built his operational and commercial base in highly regulated markets. His academic grounding is directly relevant: he holds an MS in Industrial Pharmacy and a postgraduate qualification in Pharmaceutical Industry Management from the Institut des Sciences Pharmaceutiques et Biologiques de Lyon.
For QA directors and regulatory affairs leads assessing CDMO partner stability, the appointment signals a strategic intent toward portfolio consolidation and geographic expansion rather than organic incremental growth. Rogasik's stated emphasis on supply chain resilience and geographic diversification aligns with the risk-mitigation frameworks many manufacturers are formalising under ICH Q10-aligned quality management systems and updated supplier qualification programmes.
Rogasik and the TAPI leadership team will be present at CPHI Milan, October 6–8, 2026, Hall 3, Booth A73, the first public forum at which procurement and technical teams can assess strategic direction directly with the incoming CEO.
The measurable near-term checkpoint will be whether Rogasik moves to consolidate TAPI's CDMO service offering or accelerate M&A activity across its existing manufacturing network, both of which would carry direct implications for customers managing long-term API supply agreements.
