Thermal Energy International Inc. has announced a $2.8 million project with a leading global pharmaceutical company to implement energy efficiency and carbon reduction solutions. This marks the third collaboration between the two organizations in just 15 months, reflecting a strong partnership aimed at achieving the customer’s 2030 emissions goals.
The project includes a HeatSponge® and FLU-ACE® heat recovery system integrated with a heat pump, expected to deliver 93% boiler efficiency. It is anticipated to reduce natural gas consumption and cut CO2 emissions by 728 tons annually, representing an 11% reduction for the site.
Thermal Energy’s CEO, William Crossland, expressed enthusiasm about the ongoing partnership, citing the significant opportunity to support the company’s sustainability goals across its 40 identified sites. The project is expected to be completed within 12 months, with revenue recognized in that timeframe.
