Vetter Appoints New Senior Leaders To Support Sustainable Growth

Vetter has announced that three senior leaders will join the management team as managing directors alongside Thomas Otto and Peter Soelkner. As of January 1, 2025, Henryk Badack, Titus Ottinger, and Carsten Press will be appointed to help guide Vetter on its path toward sustainable growth.

Senator h.c. Udo J. Vetter, Chairman of the Advisory Board and member of the owner family, said in a statement, “We at Vetter are committed to investing in our future and the continuous successes of our customers. By expanding the managing directors’ team, we are continuing the course for a sustainably successful future and further growth. Ultimately, we view this enhancement as a commitment to meeting the increasingly complex needs and expectations of our global customer base, in order to take care for patients in need worldwide. We take great pride in welcoming our three new managing directors to their upcoming roles.”

Henryk Badack will take charge of Vetter’s quality and development service departments. Previously, as Senior Vice President of Technical Services and Internal Project Management, he oversaw all internal technical projects, infrastructure developments, environmental health and safety initiatives, and Vetter Optimization Systems. He also played a key role in leading global sustainability efforts at Vetter, having joined the company in 2003.

Titus Ottinger will remain at the helm of finance and controlling, transitioning from Senior Vice President to Managing Director. He has been responsible for overseeing the company’s finances, external accounting, and risk management, as well as ensuring efficient business processes. Titus became a part of Vetter in 2004.

Carsten Press will join the team of Managing Directors, taking responsibility for Vetter’s supply chain management and human resources departments. Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President of Global Sales Organization & Supply Chain Management, where he managed the global sales and supply chain operations, as well as product management and marketing. Carsten has been with the company since 2009.

Thomas Otto and Peter Soelkner will maintain their leadership positions within the company, having led Vetter through significant growth and success over the years. Thomas Otto, who has been a Managing Director since 2002, will continue overseeing the production/engineering and technical service/internal project management departments. Peter Soelkner, a Managing Director since 2008, will remain focused on corporate development and global sales. This expansion of the management board reflects the growing scale and significance of these departments, highlighting Vetter's position as a rising global leader in the industry.
