ZOLL Secures Deal To Acquire Vyaire Medical’s Ventilator Business

ZOLL®, an Asahi Kasei company known for its medical devices and software, has won the auction to acquire Vyaire Medical’s ventilator business amid Vyaire’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The acquisition awaits court approval and is expected to close in the coming weeks.

ZOLL, a top player in acute critical care and diagnostic technology, provides tools used globally for diagnosing and treating severe cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions. Since 2014, the company has produced ventilation devices and accessories specifically for transporting critically ill patients.
