Apotek Produktion & Laboratorier AB (APL) is a Swedish state-owned enterprise established to meet public health needs by developing, manufacturing, and supplying specially adapted medicines. APL serves patients with unique requirements—such as children needing precise dose strengths or patients who cannot tolerate standard formulations—by producing extemporaneous and stock preparations to ensure access to treatments tailored to individual cases.
