Samantha Pearce Takes The Helm As Jazz Pharmaceuticals' Chief Commercial Officer

Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc (Nasdaq: JAZZ) announced today that Samantha Pearce, currently Senior Vice President (SVP) for Europe and International, will assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) starting August 1, 2024. Ms. Pearce, who joined Jazz in 2020 as SVP for Europe and International, brings over three decades of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical sector. During her tenure, she has fostered a culture of high performance and significantly expanded Jazz's commercial footprint, leveraging the company's European and International operations to deliver innovative therapies to patients in over 50 countries. As CCO, she will oversee strategy and operations for Jazz's global commercial activities, with her base located in the United States.

Between March 2010 and December 2019, Ms. Pearce held various leadership roles spanning global markets at Celgene Corporation, culminating in her position as Vice President and General Manager overseeing international markets. Before her tenure at Celgene, from August 2002 to March 2010, she held progressive commercial management roles at AstraZeneca plc, including her role as Director of Specialist Care. Earlier in her career, she gained experience at DuPont Pharmaceuticals. Ms. Pearce earned a B.Sc. from Birmingham University, U.K., and an M.B.A. from Cranfield University, U.K.
