BridgeBio appoints Thomas Trimarchi as President & CFO as Brian Stephenson transitions to a consulting role.
BridgeBio Pharma has announced the appointment of Thomas Trimarchi, Ph.D., as its new President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With experience in financial planning and analytics, Trimarchi will lead the company’s accounting operations and continue overseeing financial strategy. His leadership is expected to support BridgeBio’s mission of developing innovative treatments for genetic diseases.
Brian Stephenson, Ph.D., is stepping down for personal reasons but will remain a consultant to the company. BridgeBio emphasized that his departure was not due to any operational disagreements. Reflecting on his time with the company, Stephenson expressed pride in shaping its financial strategy and pioneering a model that supports broad patient access. As Trimarchi takes on this new role, BridgeBio looks to further its impact in the genetic disease space.
