Acme And Immacule Group Welcome Dr. Vellaian Karuppiah As Chief Operating Officer To Drive Innovation And Growth

Dr Vellaian Karuppiah has been named the new Chief Operating Officer at Acme and the Immacule Group of Companies. He brings an extensive background in manufacturing science, technology transfer, and operational excellence. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Dr. Karuppiah most recently led operations at Gland Pharma Limited, where he directed initiatives to boost manufacturing efficiency.

Before Gland Pharma, he held the role of Global Head of Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) and Operations at Strides Pharma Science Limited. There, he played a key role in process development, technology transfers, and launching products globally.

Dr. Karuppiah’s impressive career also includes eight years at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he focused on process standardization and project management. His professional journey also features leadership roles at Actavis (now Teva Pharmaceuticals), Wockhardt Ltd., and Orchid Healthcare. With his strategic mindset and operational expertise, Dr. Karuppiah is well-positioned to drive growth, innovation, and excellence at Acme and the Immacule Group.
