COSCIENS Biopharma Appoints Chairman Peter H. Puccetti, CFA, As Interim CEO Following Anna Biehn’s Departure

COSCIENS Biopharma Inc., a life science company specializing in natural ingredients and pharmaceutical solutions, has announced the appointment of Peter H. Puccetti, CFA, as its Interim Chief Executive Officer. His appointment is effective immediately. Peter, who currently serves as Chairman of the company’s board of directors, will step into the role following the departure of Anna Biehn, who has stepped down as CEO.

According to Robert Seager, Chair of the Human Resources, Nominating and Governance Committee, the leadership change comes at a time when the company is focused on reducing costs, streamlining operations, and aligning its resources with its core strategic priorities. He explained that the Board believes this is the right moment to transition leadership to better support the company’s ongoing restructuring and growth plans.
