Catalyst Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to in-licensing, developing, and commercializing innovative treatments for patients with rare and challenging diseases, announced that it has been included in Forbes’ prestigious list of America’s Most Successful Small-Cap Companies for 2026. Catalyst achieved an impressive ranking of 11 out of 100 companies featured on this year’s list.

Rich Daly, President and CEO of Catalyst, expressed appreciation for the recognition, noting that being named to the list again reflects the company’s continued progress. He emphasized that the achievement is a direct result of the dedication and hard work of the entire Catalyst team, as well as their commitment to supporting rare disease patient communities.

Forbes’ annual list is compiled using comprehensive data sourced from FactSet. To qualify, companies must have a market value between $300 million and $5 billion, positive sales growth over the prior 12 months, and a stock price of at least $5. Certain sectors including financial institutions, REITs, utilities, royalty trusts, and limited partnerships are excluded, along with companies that have been public for less than one year.

From an initial group of 621 companies, the top 100 are ranked based on multiple financial metrics, including earnings growth, sales growth, return on equity, and total stock return over the past five available years. Forbes gives greater weight to the most recent 12 months of performance. All data used for the ranking is as of October 31, 2025.
