Derm-Biome’s DB-007-5 Shows Superior Itch Reduction in Atopic Dermatitis

Derm-Biome Pharmaceuticals, a Vancouver-based biopharma company specializing in skin health, has announced breakthrough results for its topical drug DB-007-5 in treating atopic dermatitis (AD). In a preclinical model, DB-007-5 significantly reduced AD-related inflammation and outperformed Opzelura (ruxolitinib cream) in relieving itch—the most distressing symptom of the condition.
