Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) has started construction on a new 21,000-square-foot Clinical Supply Facility aimed at advancing pharmaceutical research and development. This facility will focus on producing small-batch therapeutics for clinical trials, particularly targeting rare diseases, vaccines, and stem cell therapies. It will also feature state-of-the-art clean room environments and advanced drug discovery platforms.
The new site will enhance SwRI's ability to meet regulatory demands while supporting global clients. The expanded capabilities will help accelerate research, especially in cancer and viral treatments.
