ALPLA Group, a global leader in plastic packaging, has finalized the acquisition of Germany-based packaging expert Heinlein Plastik-Technik to strengthen its pharmaceutical division, ALPLA pharma. This specific transaction was completed on June 12, 2024, with financial details kept confidential. This strategic move enables ALPLA Group to expand and diversify its product offerings, particularly in primary packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical sector.

Walter Knes, managing director of ALPLA pharma said, “With Heinlein Plastik-Technik at our side, our capacities in the area of injection molding will now considerably increase once again. We additionally plan to turn the Ansbach site into a technology center for injection molding and automation technology for the entire ALPLA pharma group.” Heinlein Plastik-Technik is recognized for its expertise in designing and producing closure systems, dosing systems, and application aids for the medical and pharmaceutical industries.
