Ardelyx And The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Launch Long-Term Partnership To Support Women Affected By IBS-C Through Education, Digital Outreach And On-Tour Engagement

The announcement of a new multi-year partnership between the Ladies Professional Golf Association and Ardelyx brings together two organizations that share a commitment to improving women’s health and empowering them to take charge of their well-being. Under this collaboration, Ardelyx becomes an official corporate pharmaceutical marketing partner of the LPGA Tour, marking a meaningful step toward elevating awareness around digestive health challenges that disproportionately affect women.

At the core of the partnership is a shared mission: helping women feel informed, supported and confident in addressing conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C). Women make up the overwhelming majority of those impacted by IBS-C, yet many avoid seeking help because digestive health remains a socially uncomfortable topic. Ardelyx’s chief commercial officer, Eric Foster, emphasized that this collaboration aligns naturally with the company’s purpose.

He noted that partnering with the LPGA allows Ardelyx to reach an audience that is not only passionate about the sport but also deeply connected to the broader message of proactive health management. By joining forces, the two organizations aim to encourage open dialogue, reduce stigma and motivate women to talk with healthcare professionals about symptoms that may be affecting their quality of life.

IBS-C can influence nearly every aspect of a patient’s daily routine, from emotional well-being and social interactions to productivity and independence. Yet, due to persistent taboos, many who are struggling do so quietly. Through this partnership, Ardelyx and the LPGA intend to shift that narrative. They plan to create educational touchpoints that remind women they are not alone and that effective support is within reach.

Digital and social content distributed across LPGA channels will play a central role, offering clear, relatable information to help patients better understand their symptoms and make informed decisions. This approach aligns closely with the LPGA’s long-standing mission to inspire and uplift women both on and off the golf course.

Monica Fee, the LPGA’s Chief Sales and Partnerships Officer, expressed enthusiasm for welcoming Ardelyx as the tour’s official pharmaceutical partner. She highlighted that this collaboration strengthens the LPGA’s commitment to championing health and wellness among its diverse global audience. With Ardelyx’s focus on improving patient lives and the LPGA’s powerful platform, the partnership creates an opportunity to reach women at scale with messages that encourage self-advocacy and greater confidence in managing personal health challenges.

As part of its marketing role, Ardelyx will engage across major LPGA moments throughout the season, creating meaningful interactions with fans and communities. The activation strategy includes on-site experiences at tournaments, storytelling initiatives, player ambassador programs, hospitality events and expanded digital engagement. Each component is designed to meet women where they are whether they are following the tour, attending events, or engaging with content online and support them in taking the next steps toward better digestive health. More details on these activations will be shared as the 2026 LPGA season progresses.

Overall, the partnership represents more than a branding initiative; it is an effort to normalize conversations around IBS-C, empower women with knowledge and foster a supportive environment where taking control of one’s health is seen as a strength. By combining Ardelyx’s expertise in patient-focused innovation with the LPGA’s reach and influence, the collaboration aims to spark a lasting movement that helps women feel heard, informed and supported in pursuing a healthier future.
