DBV Technologies Appoints James Briggs As Chief Human Resources Officer

DBV Technologies, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, has announced the appointment of James Briggs as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, succeeding Caroline Daniere. In his new role, Mr. Briggs will be responsible for leading key human capital initiatives as the company moves from being a development-stage biotechnology firm to preparing for potential commercialization. He will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Daniel Tassé and will also serve as a member of the Executive Committee.


James Briggs is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in human capital management, organizational transformation, and strategic leadership. Prior to joining DBV Technologies, he was a Partner at East Bay Human Capital, a consulting firm focused on human resources strategy, change management, and organizational design. His background also includes serving as Chief Executive Officer at MNG Health, where he successfully led the company through a turnaround and sale.

James Briggs mentioned, “This is a pivotal moment for DBV as we prepare to transition from our clinical development focus to building the infrastructure and capabilities needed for commercial success. Earlier in his career, he held Chief Human Resources Officer roles at several organizations, including Ciox Health and Ikaria Inc. Mr. Briggs holds a Master’s degree in Human Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
