Kane Biotech Inc. has announced the restart of commercial operations in the United States and Canada for its revyve® Antimicrobial Wound Gel product line, alongside key leadership appointments to strengthen business development across North America. In the United States, Kane has entered into non-exclusive distribution and sales agreements with Medstream Healthcare Solutions, LLC and Patient Care Medical. Initial product shipments are expected soon.
In Canada, the company has reactivated its commercial efforts by converting its existing distribution agreement with Best Buy Medical Canada into a non-exclusive arrangement. Kane is also implementing targeted sales and product sampling initiatives. While revenues remain modest in both markets, the company views this as a significant step toward rebuilding its commercial presence.
“We are executing on our commitment to reset Kane Biotech using a disciplined market approach,” said Dr. Robert Huizinga, Interim CEO of Kane Biotech. “We will continue to generate scientific credibility, clinical validation and with that, the commercial infrastructure.”
“Kay and Patti bring deep expertise and trusted relationships in their respective markets,” added Dr. Huizinga. “Their leadership will be instrumental as we expand our distribution network and support the growing adoption of revyve.”
To accelerate growth, Kane has appointed two Vice Presidents of Business Development: Sherida (Kay) Watkins Weaver, Vice President of Business Development, United States, brings more than 20 years of wound care commercialization experience.
