According to the reports, UPS Healthcare, a New Jersey-based company that provides logistic services, has recently shared the news of opening a first-of-its-kind healthcare logistics facility in Dublin. An investment of 12 Euros has covered nearly 6,000 m² and created 30 new jobs, aligning with its commitment to the Irish market growth.
Nearly 80% of the pharma products in Europe need a temperature-controlled transportation facility, and the new facility in Dublin is perfectly positioned to provide the broadest range of integrated healthcare logistic services worldwide. The facility has specialised technology offering an end-to-end solution for healthcare companies desiring to amplify their supply chains for complex treatments.
UPS Healthcare introduced a new flight path between the US, Ireland, and the UK last year to strengthen the trans-Atlantic trade lane. The flight serves Dublin and Stansted Airports, returning to UPS’s air hub in Louisville, US, and transports small package goods between these three countries.
