India's Vivint Pharma, founded in 2022, intends to invest
400 crore rupees, or around $48 million, in the construction of an injectables
production plant in Hyderabad. At the location, the corporation intends to hire
up to 1,000 people.Situated on 5.5 acres in Hyderabad, Telangana's "Genome
Valley," the facility will serve as Vivint's first production unit.
According to a press release dated August 7, Vivint presently has an R&D
facility close to the location.The anticipated completion date of the building
as well as its intended square footage were not made public.
The Telangana chief minister, Sri Revanth Reddy, expressed
his happiness with Vivint Pharma's investment in Genome Valley in the press
statement. "With this investment, Telangana will continue to lead the way
in promoting innovation in the life sciences industry."The initiative is a
component of the business's effort to increase its market share in India.
After construction is finished, the plant will focus on
creating and manufacturing injectable medications for the critical care and
cancer industries in both the home and foreign markets.
