HYDERABAD, India, 27 October 2026 — Pharmig India 2026, the World's Biggest Microbiology & CCS Summit, returns to the Global Pharma Capital of India, Hyderabad, on 3-4 December. Organised by Pharmig (UK) and supported by Pharma Now, it lands as India's sterile manufacturers face a harder question than any new limit. Annex 1 did not change the limits; it changed the standard of evidence a site is expected to hold.

Inspectors now ask why a monitoring location was chosen, not just whether the plate passed, and investigations that close on "operator error" no longer hold. The cost is repeat observations, failed media fills, rejected batches and lost market access.

The summit lets teams face that challenge before an inspector does. Delegates hear from the US FDA on what is being cited, learn from ten-plus international experts led by Pharmig Chairman David Keen, and practise in live smoke studies and an investigation clinic. They return to site able to justify every sampling location, find real root cause and defend one coherent contamination control strategy.

"India makes medicines for much of the world, and its microbiologists carry that responsibility on every batch. The talent here is world-class. What inspectors now want is that expertise turned into evidence, and Pharmig India 2026 is where India's microbiology community builds that case together, before an inspector asks for it."

said David Keen, Chairman of Pharmig.

Last year's single-day edition drew 358+ delegates, 23 speakers and 13 partners. This year it doubles to two days for microbiology, QA, QC and sterility assurance leaders across India's sterile and biologics manufacturing.

Early-bird delegate passes at ₹12,500 close on 31 October 2026. Register fast at pharmigindia2026.pharmanow.live.
