Overview
Tashkent Scientific Research Institute of Chemical Technology (TSRICT) is a leading Uzbek research organisation focused on chemical technology and advanced polymer materials. Established as an independent institute in 1992, it specialises in the development of hydrogels, polyurethanes, synthetic rubbers, high-performance adhesives and nano-composite polymer materials based on local raw-material sourcing.
The institute’s work encompasses “small chemistry” innovations such as corrosion inhibitors, flame retardants, photostabilizers and advanced additives for industrial polymers. By combining scientific expertise with industrial production capacity, the institute supports both research and applied manufacturing across sectors.
TSRICT’s mission is to solve large-scale scientific and industrial problems in Uzbekistan and the region, delivering developments in polymer science that meet international standards while leveraging regional material advantages. With growth in nanocomposite production, carbon fibre reinforced plastics and tailored polymer solutions, the institute is positioned as a strategic partner for innovation, technology transfer and commercialisation of advanced materials.
