Orchestra BioMed has announced the appointment of Dr. Vivek Reddy as Executive Chairman of its BACKBEAT Study Steering Committee and Chairman of its Bioelectronic Therapies Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Reddy, a globally recognized expert in cardiac electrophysiology, will spearhead efforts to advance AVIM therapy, a device-based treatment designed to address uncontrolled hypertension in high-risk cardiovascular patients. Dr. Reddy, currently serving at The Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital, brings extensive experience in electrophysiology, catheter ablation, and stroke prevention device therapies.
